What Desk accesses

Desk connects to one Gmail account, its own. It uses Google's permission to send e-mail and to read e-mail in that account.

Only to send messages its owner has approved, and to read replies from approved people. Nothing else.

Gmail data is never sold, never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising.

The access key is stored only on the owner's own computer, readable only by the sending program. Messages stay in Gmail.

Desk's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
